David is passionate about combining voice-of-customer with operational data to develop strategies that deliver loyalty through differentiated innovative solutions. While he believes that digital transformation is a key driver of experience improvement, he anchors on considering the entire customer experience, both digital and physical.
During his time at UPS, he led the digital transformation and international expansion of UPS My Choice, driving enrollment growth to over 100M members, 8X revenue growth, and class leading Net Promoter Score. While leading the UPS services API integration program (UPS Ready) for strategic accounts like Amazon, eBay, and PayPal he expanded the program globally and created the ecommerce integration with Shopify, the first of its kind, that became the model for the multi-billion dollar Digital Access Program. He also developed UPS Access Point© Lockers, solving the final mile problem for delivery challenged recipients.
As a final mile delivery expert, David thrives on tackling difficult problems and is recognized for applying innovative thinking to broad problem sets and has received multiple patents for his ideas at UPS.
Prior to UPS, David held marketing, strategy, and product management leadership roles in supply chain, SaaS, industrial automation, and manufacturing for Spectrum Brands, Manhattan Associates, Honeywell and others.
David received his MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University in Atlanta, GA and his BS in Chemical Engineering from Miami University in Oxford Ohio.
He currently lives in the greater Atlanta, GA area with his wife and three children (at least during the rare visit from college). When he is not creating customer experiences, you can find him trail running in the north Georgia mountains or at home woodworking and doing anything DIY.
