Gabe Alonso has spent the past 15+ years building a digital marketing career spanning across the music, entertainment, apparel and food and beverage industries. His diverse experience has led to roles at internationally recognized companies. Throughout his endeavors, Gabe has gained expertise in social media strategy, digital product marketing, CRM and more. He has a passion for advancing brand awareness and customer experiences through digital forward strategy and tactics and has initiated best-in-class integrated programming for MTN DEW ENERGY and Rockstar Energy at PepsiCo as well as Call of Duty at Activision Publishing, and various personalized customer retention programs at Nike, Inc.
Gabe is currently the Vice President of Digital Marketing for El Pollo Loco. He leads a team of experts in website development, social media marketing, CRM & loyalty, off-premise partnerships, and influencer strategy for the brand. He joins El Pollo Loco at a pivotal time in the brand’s ongoing digital evolution and is instrumental in furthering digital integration and continued social media marketing innovation.
Gabe holds a degree from The College of New Jersey and currently lives in Los Angeles, CA with his family. He enjoys road biking and spending time outdoors with his Australian Shepherd and experiencing the world class landscapes of California.
