
James is a Partner Director at Nectar360, who own and operate the UK’s largest coalition loyalty programme with 17.5m members, alongside offering data, analytics, digital and media services to over 700 clients across both its varied partner sectors and CPGs.
He started his career in loyalty over a decade ago at Groupe Aeroplan, prior to its becoming Aimia, supporting CPGs such as Unilever and PepsiCo utilise Nectar data, before spending several years in consulting at emnos where he worked with global retailers across category management, media and programme design. He then moved to Reward where he worked on the CashBack Plus programme from NatWest and RBS.
In 2015 he returned to Aimia, prior to Sainsbury’s acquisition of the Nectar programme and the creation of Nectar360. Since then, he has led relationships with a wide range of CPGs such as P&G, Nestle, J&J and Heineken before taking on wider leadership of client relationships across all non-food categories. In 2021 he transitioned to the programme partnerships side of Nectar360 to lead the travel vertical with the likes of British Airways and Booking Holdings before taking on Nectar’s relationships with eBay, affiliates and open banking.
James, who lives and works in London, is passionate about loyalty and working with clients and partners to realise the potential of the data it drives.
